Last Sunday it was FMRC (FrasseMotorSport RallyCross Cup) and after he's great fourth place in TTR Cup the weekend before he was going for a decent result.
Heat 1: A horrible start, but managed to get up to second position. He pushed as hard as he could but finnished 2nd.
Heat 2: Better start this time, but still only 2nd entering the last lap(s). Kept second place, and had 10 good points before the last meeting.
Heat 3: A great start, came out as the leader after turn 1 after a small incident between three drivers. He kept he's nose clean and could win, and be in 4th place entering the finals.
A-Final: When Gelin entered the start-grid the 2nd starting position was to he's suprise free. Without a doubt he tooked it. He made a great start emediatly, and threw himself into the Joker-Lap imedeatly. Everyone but two drivers fallowed him, so he was as worst third if he kept it clean. He managed to pass the second placed driver after a couple of corners. He chased the leader hard, and when he finally tooked the Joker-Lap Gelin could pass. He then went on to win the A-Final. He's first wictory since October 2008.
Next up is AARC (Airattack Rallycross Cup) on Friday 29th. Lots of drivers expects to be there so a hard race is promised. The race is broadcasted live with 2 commentators on this link: http://tv.liveforspeed.se First start is 20:00 UTC, wich means 21:00 Central Europe time.
