Bergluns wins TTR Cup R3 and 2 new drivers joins
Last sunday the 3rd round of the 2010 TTR Cup finnished. Berglund tooked a win after first winning the B-Final and then the A-Final. He retired he's 2nd heat with engine problems but could make it to B and then to A. Gelin had a soldig run, and finnished 5th in the A-Final. Berglund is now up to 2nd place in the cup and Gelin falls down to 4th.
Under the last two weeks 2 new drivers has joined GRT. Hermansson and Klingstedt are now oficially members of GRT and we wish them the best of luck in 2010.

It looked good - It ended bad
Yesterday evning the 2nd round of the AARC 2010 was by. Jonathan went through the qual with 7+7+7 and Gelin with 7+5+7 and they were 1st and 3rd going into the A-Final. In the start they both flyed away making up 1-2 with Jonathan in the lead and Gelin 2nd. On lap 3 though it all changed. Gelin stalled under braking and spun, lost it all and finnished 6th. Jonathan lost out to Borgström but finnished 2nd, the team only lost 1 point to TTR and still a 1-2 in the championship.
Perfect Thursday-Race For GRT
This Thursday Gelin and Berglund tooked part of Thursday-Race with FOX on AS3. The speed was good but after a few mistakes they lost some positions. However, Berglund was batteling for a top 8 position until he spun but finnished 15th. Gelin went of in the first corner of the first lap but could recover to 18th. The team had a target to have both cars in top 20 and we are happy we did it.

Another Double For GRT
In Round 2 of the 2010 FMRC, GRT posted the second 1-2 finnish of the year. Gelin won and Berglund followed in second. Gelin now leads the cup after his two wins and Berglund is in 4th. Next up is AARC Round 2 in 28/2.

Good events comming up for the team
The next comming weeks there will be good events for the team. First we have Thursday-Race this Thursday 18/2. Then after that it is AARC Round 2 the 28/2. And after that it is TTR Cup Round 3 7/3. And finally after that it's time for Tepes-Pokalen 2010. A Mod-Rally for those who bould mods. Gelin will participate in a Subaru Inpreza 08 and aims for a, not only class win, but to be fastest of them all. Last year he won Class 2 (A-2wd) with the Corolla GT and aims to win it all in 2010

Frustrating TTR Cup R2 For GRT
The 2nd round of TTR Cup 2009 was a bit frustrating for the team. After the heats the drivers was not too inpressed by the speed. Gelin could finnish 5th after an A-Final crash and Berglund finnished 3rd. The guys are not in 3rd and 4th overall, and want to see change at Round 4.
Team ready and confident for TTR Cup Round 2
Tomorrow it's time for the second round of TTR Cup 2009. Gelin is in 4th place and Berglund in 7th. Last time we were on this combo Gelin had flue so the result was horrible. But still he was quick between the mistakes, and says he will go for a win. Berglund is more confident then ever, and will battle on for a podium. The team says its inportant to keep the positions in the overall standings.

Double GRT in AARC Round 1
This friday, 29th Januari 2010, Jonathan and Gelin drove AARC round 1. Here is a wrap-up of Gelin's race.
Heat 1: Good start, came out of turn one 2nd. Without any problems he finnished 2nd.
Heat 2: Also a good start, could claim the lead after a start crash and went on to win
Heat 3: A tough heat. But he finnished 2nd behind Nilsson
A-Final: Good start, was the best FWD car after the lines. But spun off in turn one hitting the barrier, but could continue. He then charged through the field. And went on to finnish 2nd behind Jonathan! A doubld GRT in Round One and the GelinRacingTeam are wery happy. Replay of the full webb-tv is to be found at http://tv.liveforspeed.se .

Early retirement for Gelin in Thursdayrace
Gelin qualyfied in as the 20th of 26 drivers and felt confident going into the 31 lap race. He climed to 16th on lap one before disaster stroke. He spun in the last corner on lap one and got hit by two or three drivers. He tryed to continue but after three laps he had to retire due to big damage to the rear of the car. A pity, Gelin says who were under team-orders to finnish. Now we're looking forward to AARC Round 1 wich both Gelin and Jonathan will participate in.

Gelin to do Thursday-Race Warmup
Tomorrow, Thursday, Gelin is going to a warm-up race for AARC Round 1 on friday. A 31 lap on Westhil with XRR is the plan, and he is under strict orders to finnish to get experience. Gelin says he will not drive at full pace, only learn and finnish.

Gelin wins first race for 15 months
Last Sunday it was FMRC (FrasseMotorSport RallyCross Cup) and after he's great fourth place in TTR Cup the weekend before he was going for a decent result.
Heat 1: A horrible start, but managed to get up to second position. He pushed as hard as he could but finnished 2nd.
Heat 2: Better start this time, but still only 2nd entering the last lap(s). Kept second place, and had 10 good points before the last meeting.
Heat 3: A great start, came out as the leader after turn 1 after a small incident between three drivers. He kept he's nose clean and could win, and be in 4th place entering the finals.
A-Final: When Gelin entered the start-grid the 2nd starting position was to he's suprise free. Without a doubt he tooked it. He made a great start emediatly, and threw himself into the Joker-Lap imedeatly. Everyone but two drivers fallowed him, so he was as worst third if he kept it clean. He managed to pass the second placed driver after a couple of corners. He chased the leader hard, and when he finally tooked the Joker-Lap Gelin could pass. He then went on to win the A-Final. He's first wictory since October 2008.
Next up is AARC (Airattack Rallycross Cup) on Friday 29th. Lots of drivers expects to be there so a hard race is promised. The race is broadcasted live with 2 commentators on this link: http://tv.liveforspeed.se First start is 20:00 UTC, wich means 21:00 Central Europe time.
